CUSTOM SYSTEMS FROM CIC
CIC's major focus
is providing customized GC systems that will meet the unique applications of
our customers. When possible, your new instrument will have analyzed your
samples, before it leaves our lab. We provide validation, reproducibility and
test-sample data with every system.
Written methods
and procedures can be generated in a format of your choosing. We generally provide
the manuals and procedures in both hardcopy and HTML formats. The HTML manuals
are very popular since they are usually installed on the data system PC or data
system terminal near the GC system. They
are viewed with a Web Browser like any other Intranet document.
We build
instruments that have easily accessible components. Have you ever replaced a
switching valve in a GC where you had to spend an hour getting to the valve,
and then you found it buried under a tangle of tubing? CIC instruments are
designed and assembled with the knowledge that replacing components or future
modifications may be required.
We build our
systems on most modern GC's and either CIC or the customer can supply the GC.
Generally, we build special application systems only with new instrumentation,
but occasionally, we accept used instruments from the customer (such as HP 6890’s)
that are in excellent working condition. Manufacturer's basic instrument
warranties and Service Contracts are not affected by our applications
engineering, and if you wish, we can train the manufacturer’s local service
technicians on the instrument while we're at your site.
From simple
methods development to complete specialty-GC construction, we can come to your
facility and perform the job. This is frequently done in international cases
where shipping the instrument (or samples) to the United States is difficult or
impossible.
