SILANE
The difficulties
in handling and analyzing silane by gas chromatography are known only to those
who have had the "pleasure" of working with the material. CIC's staff
has a significant background in handling and analyzing silane. We know that the
extremely low level concentrations set as specifications by most vendors and
customers for semiconductor grade silane takes gas chromatography to it's working limits.
Some laboratories
use numerous instruments to perform all the analyses required. CIC can reduce the number of instruments required, saving
the customer analytical time, maintenance costs and initial capital investment.
We also design,
build and install silane handling systems. We know silane, and we can provide a
system specifically to meet your requirements. Our handling systems are clean,
safe, surprisingly simple, easy to maintain and easy to use.
The following
chromatograms show results from some of our systems. Our business is custom
building systems for your particular needs so contact us today to discuss the
possibilities.
The chromatogram
below was obtained using a PDID (Pulsed Discharge Ionization Detector). Usually
the valving, columns, pneumatics and detectors are
all contained in purged housings in our silane systems.
